The International Journal of Information Security and Cybercrime (IJISC) is a biannual scientific publication with the purpose of analyzing information, computers and communications security and identifying new valences of cybercrime phenomenon.

IJISC is edited by the Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance (RAISA) in collaboration with professors and experts from the University Politehnica of Bucharest and “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy.
The content of this Journal does not reflect the official opinion of the Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance or its partners. The responsibility for the information and opinions expressed in the articles or reviews lies entirely with the author(s).
Through the theoretical and practical addressed issues, the Journal targets experts from the information security or cybercrime field, people in training (students, PhD students, young researchers) or people interested in improving or updating their knowledge in this domain. The authors of the articles come from the academic, research and law enforcement fields.
The Editorial Board of the Journal consists of specialists in information security and cybercrime from academic police structures and university departments, their work taking place under the close guidance of the Scientific Council, composed of internationally recognized personalities from the academic field.

The principal aim of the Journal is to bring together the latest research and development in information security and the latest methods to prevent and combat the cybercrime phenomenon.
The Journal sections include studies, analyses and research regarding information security and cybercrime. Papers must be written in English, and they must not have been previously published and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
