    Abstract:

The world we live in becomes more and more interdependent, and this is largely due to developments in information and communication technology. This increasing interdependence generates many advantages and disadvantages, given that both public institutions and private companies have become almost totally dependent on information systems to perform important activities. So, governments all over the world need to prepare themselves in order to face new challenges that can arise in the cyberspace as the everyday life of every citizen, the national economy, and the national security of any state currently depend on the stability and security of cyberspace. These challenges are included in the concept of "cyber security" that refers to threats, vulnerabilities and the need for governments and supra-state structures to develop a massive security strategy for their digital network.
