The book entitled “Information Security” is a scientific approach to a sensitive area which represents an international priority because the integration of information technology and communications infrastructure to the Internet is accompanied by risks of intrusion and data compromise.
The aims of this book are to study security of information systems and to propose different solutions to improve it. Through the theoretical and practical addressed issues, the target of the book are experts from information security or cybercrime field, university students, PhD students or people interested to improve or to update their knowledge in this domain.
“Information Security” represents a scientific portfolio, theoretically and practically, in information security and cybercrime domain.
The value of this book is given by the innovations and personal contributions made by the author in the chapters where the methods for securing computer system are analyzed.
The book “Information Security” assumes that current information systems are vulnerable to attacks and failures/errors, while the requirements for a high level of dependability and survivability increased, in the same time with risks.
This book highlights the author’s excellent training in the field concerned and its ability to propose solutions, implement and evaluate them through appropriate procedures.
