Abstract:
Personal space has little meaning in many virtual environments, but it is quite relevant in a virtual space such as a “second life” space. From the perspective of legal and social norms, things are different and the rules of the online environment often are very similar and applicable legal social norms, being a normalized space and divided between individuals represented online and legal entities that also build a virtual identity. The myth of anonymity in online environment is a big challenge for those who have to maintain the order and security in society.
