Each BSides chapter is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.
Part of the Adobe security team along with other community enthusiasts have started the BSidesBucharest organization. BSides Bucharest is a non-profit organization, independently run, community supported conference and part of the worldwide Security BSides movement. The idea behind the Security BSides Bucharest event is to organize a sales-pitch free Information Security community where professionals, experts, researchers, and InfoSec enthusiasts come together to discuss. The produced events are a source of education, collaboration and continued conversation and challenge for information technologists and those associated with this field:
- Learn about the most current trends, tools & techniques through our events;
- Stimulate your creative and critical thinking by joining your powers with others in order to create open source project to benefit the community;
- Build your professional network.
