This year’s edition of the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB) – organized under the high patronage of the President of the Chamber of Deputies and of the Romanian Government – took place between April 16-18, in the generous space offered by the building of the Romanian Parliament.
Organized by the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, the summit consisted of panels and workshops, TechPulse Hackathon, High Performance Computing training, B2B meetings, international inter-ministerial dialogues and demonstrations of state-of-the-art products.
Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest 2024 was an innovative event combining two influential conferences: the 7th edition of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum – CIP Forum and the 3rd edition of the International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy – ICCD.
Leaders and experts of the field delivered keynote speeches highlighting the importance of safeguarding critical infrastructure and fostering diplomatic relations in the digital age.
Industry pioneers, government officials, academics, researchers and cybersecurity professionals were engaged in the substantive discussions held within DISB 2024. Excellently planned and managed by the director of ICI Bucharest, Dr. Victor Vevera, this summit explored the intersection of digital innovation, cybersecurity, and diplomatic efforts in today’s interconnected world.
The Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance (RAISA) was represented at DISB 2024 by Professor Emeritus Ioan C. Bacivarov, PhD, the President of RAISA.
